under pressure in school and out

Why are many children stressed-out in school?

I am not a student anymore but if you are student, you probably work hard in school. and when you receive difficult assignments or prepare for exams, you might be willing and able to make an even greater effort. but what if all your days were packed with schoolwork and other assignments? you might find it hard to eat properly or get a good night's rest. the constant high level of stress could eventually make you sick. not to mention all the pressure form friends and teachers. perharps that is you feel now.

What are the causes?

One student says "As i go on to higher grades, my homework increases and get more difficult. finishing it takes a long time. i have many things that i want to do, but the homework must be turned in the next day. i sometimes feel panicky."
Another students says "Completing my homework has become more difficult. Every year i have more subjects to study and the teachers assign much more material. Also, the teacher considers his/her subject is to be more important the rest. it is hard to find  a balance and get it all done."

So, as a student or when you were a student, what can you or what did you do to make you less tension and reduce stress ?

Why we are here?

What is the meaning of life?

This is the often asked question for many who experience hardship in life. Perhaps at no time, we do raise such question as we sense how brief our life span really is. but of course, we do not need to be going through a life threatening crisis to ask why we are here. Disillusionment can trigger the question as well. and some may ask it as they reflect on their life pattern.

A succesful trip through life?

Life is often compared to a journey. Just as you may begin a trip with no final destination in mind, you could live your life without identifying its real purpose. If you do so, you risk getting caught up in what well-known writer Stephen R.Covey calls "the busy-ness of life." He wrote about those who "find themselves achieving victories or success that are empty, successes that have come at the expense of things they suddenly realize were far more valuable to them."

Would you not agree that increasing our speed on a trip is pointless if we are not heading in the right directions?
